Fine Artist

Growing up on the countryside Huld has always been around animals and from early age she fell in love with the Icelandic horse, who is the only horse breed in Iceland.

Even though they are small one should not mistake them for ponies. The Icelandic horse has a spirited temperment and a big personality, able to travel long distances in a rough enviroment, carry heavy loads and are very long-lived, all trades that sets them apart from other breeds. They are five-gaited breed (walk, trot, canter, tölt and skeið (flying pace) and very colorful, there are over 100 names for various colors and color patterns in the Icelandic language.

During the summers Huld travels to Iceland and frequently goes horseback riding and photographs them, finding inspiration in their spirit.
